When I worked on this composition, I was inspired by the refinement of that porcelain cup and the roses bud. Subtle colours, shapes and textures bring them to come out from the shadow. This is a very ancient object that had a long life and might last forever in a museum opposed to a fragile, ephemeral living vegetal containing all the power of life.
